Flamingo on White Hot Bowl Cozy, Microwave Bowl Potholder

No more burnt fingertips. Who hasn't burned their fingers taking a bowl, which is as hot as the surface of the sun, out of the microwave? No more burning your fingers on a hot bowl with this cozy. This reversible cozy, which is made of quilting cotton, cotton thread and 2 pieces of cotton batting, goes right in the microwave along with your microwavable bowl. Put your soup, oatmeal or leftovers inside your 6" diameter microwavable bowl (standard size cereal bowl) and place the bowl of food inside the bowl cozy and place in the microwave. Microwave for no more than 3 minutes. When you take it out of the microwave, grab two diagonal corners and keep your fingers from burning. The bowl insert shown in the photo is not included. Any 6" microwavable bowl will work. Not only are these ideal for warming up your soup, chili, oatmeal or any leftovers, but you can keep the cozy in place to insulate your bowl while you eat. Many of my customers also use these cozies to insulate a cold bowl of ice cream, which is especially handy for little ones.

WARNING: this is NOT fireproof or fire retardant. It is meant to go in the microwave for no more than 2-3 minutes. Not meant for microwaves without a rotating plate. The bowl cozy should never be placed in the microwave by itself. Never leave a running microwave unattended. This is not to be used in a standard oven or convection oven.
