Welcome to The Embroidery Momma.  You are reading the first, in what I hope will be many, posts sharing crafts, gift ideas for those who seem to already have everything and for those difficult to shop for men in our lives.  Through this blog, I will introduce you to some products that have been total game changers for me or even things that serve no other purpose but to make me smile.  I love to laugh and find joy in simple things. 

So why am I The Embroidery Momma?  Well, to start with I have five grown sons.  (Three I gave birth to and two I was blessed with by marriage.)   Secondly, I love all things embroidery and sewing.  Now that our sons are grown and gone, Mr. FixIt (that’s what I call my husband – because he can fix anything ) and I have become empty nesters. 

When the boys were younger we spent almost all our free time at the baseball field.  We often joked that we should just get some cots and sleep on the field because it would save so much time without having to drive back and forth from home to the field.  Back then, I was the Baseball Momma.: now I am the Embroidery Momma.
